St. Peter’s is situated right in the middle of the village of Bratton Fleming, north Devon. It is opposite the school, village hall and pub, and close to the garage and shops.

Its central position in the village has acted as a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness for eight hundred years.

The church is part of the Shirwell Team Ministry, a group of eight Churches. The Team Rector, who lives in the village is assisted by the Team Vicar who lives at Shirwell, a village about four miles distant.

In April 2004 St. Peters signed a Covenant with the Methodist Church in the village. Four months later the chapel closed, with the two congregations joining together for joint acts of worship at St. Peters every Sunday.

This arrangement became formally recognised in November 2006, when the two Churches signed a Sharing Agreement, to become the first Anglican - Methodist Church in Devon.
